Canadian here. I’ll welcome anyone who voted against Trump.
Those who voted for Trump or didn’t vote at all can die in a ditch.
If you use scented laundry products I hope your house burns to the foundation. It’s fuckin hot and I can’t open my window you piece of shit.

In a browser I right click on a bookmark folder to open all the bookmarks in separate tabs. I usually do this with my social sites.
To update Fedora “sudo dnf upgrade”. I used to use the software store but that often requires a reboot.
Windows+L to lock the computer.
I always have my vpn, terminal window, and qbittorrent start at boot.

The updates will take a little longer that is all. GOS is not in the same boat as other custom rom devs - they don’t have build trees either.
GOS is talking to a couple of OEMs about getting a GOS phone produced.
I bought a Pixel so could install a degoogle OS on the phone. This largely removed Google from my life.
Freedom.
A government that works for the people.
A person who is against authoritarianism.
A wall of text with no punctuation.
Basic Income.
Now someone always has to ask how to pay for it.
Years ago a study was done about basic income in Canada. It was determined that the country would save billions by discontinuing most of the government handouts (there was 60+ at the time) and replacing those with a single payment. Consider how many offices are in each major city for welfare, employment insurance, etc. Save money with reduced wages, rent, power, insurance, so on and so forth.
Pixel with GrapheneOS, for me, it’s beautiful. No bloat, no Google.

A dry erase notebook. $2. The marker that came with it is crap so that was another $12 for a pack of 4.
I thought the point of stretching was to gain flexibility.
Domestic cats aren’t exotic. All are very common.
Years ago I was watching Doomsday Preppers and one fella dug a long trench, 100 foot if I’m not mistaken.
In the trench he laid a large PVC pipe and filled in the trench. At the far end of the pipe there was an air inlet. He ran the pipe into his basement and up inside a wall with an inline fan. Cool air, as well as fresh air.
Didn’t do anything for the humidity, I suspect.
He claimed it worked, I can not confirm.
It does make since as it’s about 4c/39f four feet/1.2m underground.
I prefer not use use a sync “solution” that has been in beta for 3 years.
When I was using Android tablet and phone, Quillpad is what I used. Very similar layout to Keep. It doesn’t have sync built-in but does have markdown. I used to export a note and sync with Syncthing.
When I switch my tablet for a Linux laptop I had to find something else. Notesnook is what I went with. The layout is more of a list of notes v Keep’s twin columns, has sync in the free version (works great) and markdown.
Markdown is optional with both apps.
It’s been a long time since I watched it but I found Bladerunner very slow paced.
It’s possible to watch Youtube if you don’t care about commenting, adult, or members only videos.
On Linux, I use Freetube. On Android, PipePipe.
Noice!
This is the first thing I see when logging into Lemmy, made me pause for a second or two.
