Nah, their patent on acetominaphen is expired, so they have little real interest in defending it today. Slap another brand on their various meds that don’t contain it, and call it a day.

People who believe the administration and drop Tylenol for Motrin, Kenvue is happy either way.

Also they continue to own the brand that is demonized by the administration that some people will stick with precisely because this administration demonized it.

Also reap a bump of people stockpiling because they think the government might take it away.

This wouldn’t be “defending it” like a copyright claim. This would be suing for damages. It doesn’t matter how much they care about the brand. They’d sue to get money based on a loss of potential sales (future and present) and any other harm done.

I could see them not wanting to rock the boat, but I don’t think it’s a smart play. They’ll go down either way if the Fascists want, and they clearly don’t care about them enough to not damage them.

I mean I’m all for ending circumcision, but being a fellow acetaminophen-american, I can certainly say it does not appear to be a factor for me being that I’m not cut.

It seems very strange that lacking foreskin would have a relationship to executive functioning in the brain, but I’m not an expert like they claim to be.

You have been found in violation of the following political pre-crime:

      • Applying logic, reason, and/or critical thought to a claim made by god-emperor Trump.

Your online activity is under review by the Defense Information Coalition to Keep Bitcoin Under Tactical Trade (DICKBUTT) agency. A recommendation will be provided shortly by Grok regarding the severity/lethality of action that will be taken against you. Please stand by for a final decision.

You may mitigate these charges by committing to a monthly one thousand ($1,000) dollar donation to the Trump campaign or affiliated parties to include Vladimir Putin, Benjamin Netanyahu, Kim Jong Un, or any local chapter of the Ku Klux Klan, Proud Boys, or Fox News.

Smaller infractions may be rectified by meeting a daily quota of telling slurs to minorities in person, over the phone, or on your preferred online social media platform.

      Thank you for your cooperation,

      In Jesus’ name, amen.

If I had boys, there’s no way I would agree to them being circumcised at all, but you need to know that FGM is much, much worse than circumcision. Most circumcised men can perform happily sexually, but need lube to masturbate. Not so women who have endured FGM.

There are 4 main types of FGM:

type 1 (clitoridectomy) – removing part or all of the clitoris

This is the equivalent of removing the glans or dickhead. Its purpose is to remove pleasure from sex.

type 2 (excision) – removing part or all of the clitoris and the inner labia (the lips that surround the vagina), with or without removal of the labia majora (the larger outer lips)

          Includes 1

type 3 (infibulation) – narrowing the vaginal opening by creating a seal, formed by cutting and repositioning the labia

This makes sex very painful. There isn’t a deliberate equivalent for men, but men with severe phimosis also experience pain. Phimosis is usually treatable without surgery, and even after surgery (circumcision) sex is pleasurable. Paraphimosis is an urgent medical emergency where the foreskin is trapped behind the glans, cutting off blood supply, but no one is doing phimosis or paraphimosis to people deliberately.

other harmful procedures to the female genitals, including pricking, piercing, cutting, scraping or burning the area

          I.e. botched, deliberately or accidentally.

          So…

The normal outcome of circumcision, “I wish wanking were easier” isn’t the same as the normal outcome of FGM, “I wish sex wasn’t traumatisingly painful”.

Pretending that circumcision is as bad as, or equivalent to FGM, or even that they’re bad for the same reason, REALLY undermines your case to the point of making you look heartless or ill-informed.

It’s quite common among Christians in the u.s. Probably somehow related to Kellogg and Graham, of cereal and crackers. Those types were obsessed with preventing masturbation and pleasure.

Back in the 70s-80s many Christian Americans were circumcised because it was thought to be cleaner. Doctors would often just do it once the baby was born with little to no input from parents.

I’m not antisemitic and I think circumcision is wrong. It’s sexual assault, normalized.

I get the traditional and cultural reasons why it was done, but that time is gone.

I think historically, intersex people would have an operation to assign a single gender. Nowadays, we wait, as it is considered cruel to assume. Why is it different for religion? Why do we have an exception for people who are not medically trained to perform what is essentially an operation.

The only reason it is tolerated and legal and common is due to cultural memory. If some new religion required all children to have their appendix removed preventively, we would not do that.
