The irony of pointing this out when there is literally one less hour of the weekend this weekend…
Atleast on America that is by law if publicly traded. Let’s say a company discovers something that amazing, say cure for cancer and decides they are going to give it out for free for the benefit of mankind. They can be sued and will likely lose. Only real defense would be they thought the goodwill from giving away for free would earn the shareholders more money through goodwill towards the company. A smaller scale version of this would be like a farm raising animals in non-optimal conditions (for profit but nicer to the animals like free-range instead of cages). They could argue the customers will be willing to pay a premium for that.
If not publicly traded they can do whatever they want. If governmental they should have a goal or mission statement that states what their intent is(usually it’s not profit) but if it’s publically traded legally their only motive is profit to the shareholders.
What you can do safely is get a pack of cookie dough, wait till it’s summer time(hotter the better), be in Texas, Arizona or similar state, put cookie dough on pan and leave on your dash board, go to work.
When you get out of work you’ll have fresh baked cookies and your car will smell amazing!
Fun fact about relative speeds though if you can drive at 1/5 of the speed of light you should never get a ticket for running a red light as all red light will be green due to the doppler effect. That said the speeding ticket you’ll get…
for example did you get this video question correct on first try? https://youtu.be/KB_lTKZm1Ts?si=thBBo7sI6zB5YrQS
If this was named Mario I would check myself with a psychologist.
That is one reason another is one my company does often. See in most cases you get hired as a contractor, so no pto no benefits no holiday pay etc. So let’s say a manager has a contractor who is really good and they want to make them a permanent employee. First they have to convince upper management that the manager deserves a full time employee. Now they have to create a job offer, open to all internal and external applicants. They need to collect/sort resumes, they then select a series of people to interview. Now in 99% of cases the recipient is already choosen and the interviews don’t matter but they have to put on a show. Then the manager has to explain why the other applicants are worse and the employee who is still a contractor actually deserves the permanent position. Then only then will the contractor be offered a employee position.
Also we must keep 20% of all the workforce at each site as contractors. So full time positions only appear when either a bunch of contractors are hired or employees quit either of which throws off the ratio. We have lost many great employees due to this policy.

It’s doesn’t say anything good about your navy but really doesn’t say anything good about your AUTOpilot.

You forgot to include the most important phrase… “I use arch BTW” :)
So really it’s in a few days iwfu(I will fuck up)
Not me but a former Co worker was bitten by something unknown. He went out fishing, I don’t know if alcohol was included but I wouldn’t be surprised. He got home and noticed two puncture wounds on the back of his leg. Over the next few days his leg really hurt, he went to the doctor was basically told it’s just a little inflamed here’s some ibuprofen.
Another week goes by still in pain so he goes back. Might be a mild infection heres some antibiotics.
A few days go by and pain is getting worse. He goes to hospital. The check him out, he is going into sepsis and his kidneys and liver are shutting down. They put him in a medical induced coma. Once they stabilize him they run more tests, they find stage 4 lung cancer. They send him to some cancer hospital in Kentucky. He arrives late at night(still in coma). They put him in a room. They check on him the next morning and he is dead.
I disagree… If they eliminate schools then mother’s would have to stay home with the kids. That would mean less current wage slaves.
Plus then the family would control what the kids are taught instead of the kids learning what they want them to learn.
Where I work we do a mix… Some 4 days, 10 hrs each, some 5days 8 hrs each.
Production is typically 4/10 and most other people are 5/8. This allows the other groups a day where production isn’t running and other things can happen, like maintaining equipment and running tests without interfering with production schedules. While not requiring support to come in on a Saturday or Sunday.
It works out pretty well for us, except when production does ot on Fridays for weeks in a row and the other stuff can’t get done…
To verify your stud detector works you must point it to your self, make a beeping sound, turn to your significant other and tell them “I’m a stud”
