I’m sooo relieved and happy about this, and surprised, most people told me I was completely screwed and I would have to redo the floor, now it looks good as new 😅

I fixed it really easily and well, without sanding, with the steaming method recommended here! Photos are in a comment further below:)

I found a video where they put small holes in the varnish with a knife, then let it sit wet for a couple of hours, then steam it through a towel, and it worked pretty well on a test dent!
