Chadwick Bowsman in anything, but I would have loved it if he could have had a real close to the Black Panther character. If I have a magic wand I’d cure his cancer, of course. But even giving him just a few more years so he could give that character a worthy send off and better set up the rest of his universe.

Don’t sleep on “A Knight’s Tale”

Some of the DVD/Blu-ray versions of “GalaxyQuest” have the entire movie dubbed into the weird screeching alien language as a quirky bonus feature.

How Simon broke River out is pretty significantly different, that’s the biggest one. A few other small things.

And I refuse to consider “Serenity” canon for other obvious reasons.

Between the Joss factor and the fact that the heroes are obviously based on “lost cause” confederates, who today are all racists hicks, it’s hard to watch now. But it’s soooo well made.

How can it be canon to both the show and the movie? The movie wasn’t in the same canon as the show.

You just described addiction as a mental condition. People can use anything as an unhealthy coping mechanism. It sounds like you’ve probably correctly identified it as an addiction. Now you can treat it like one.

People can become addicted to food, too, but clearly can’t stop entirely. There are comparisons.

That said, I’d say this is more like work addiction or shopping addiction where stopping completely for a time is possible while you detox, then see what feels right about reintroducing healthy versions in a safe way.

Find groups then. It’s not exactly the same, but 12 step groups are an excellent, free option. Honestly a great addiction recovery plan often includes both individual and group work.

Lots of great answers already, but one interesting thing that seems to be like it would keep more mammals from evolving to fly:

extra weight of the young during gestation.

Egg-laying birds get to breed but don’t carry around that extra weight for nearly as long or as heavy. That’s got to be a huge evolutionary advantage, right?

Houston is as well considering it’s massive but full of mostly sprawled suburbs and tons of oil people or friends/relatives of oil people.

That’s also just what I could find in 30 seconds on Zillow. Pretty sure you could get stuff even cheaper (no structures in property, for insurance) with a little effort

Hers a listing in northern SK for $129k CAD that’s nearly 12k acres. That’s $10.75 CAD per acre. That’s pretty cheap in my book.

Outside of the awesome ‘national parks’ answer from someone else, I would have to assume the best cost-to-surface-area purchase in the world would be really cheap land in the American West, Australian outback, Russian tundra, Canadian North, etc. Assuming it doesn’t have oil on it, some of those areas, land practically given away. Sometimes you can get governments to pay you to take it on and try to do something useful with it.

If you consider that ownership usually includes mineral rights for miles under the ground, this really starts to look like the obvious choice of your looking for volume, not just area.

I mean, The Mandalorian started by cutting someone in half with a door 60 seconds into the first episode. It’s not exactly “little kid stuff.”

“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” (2013 version) is beautiful and thoughtful. Completely unlike any other Ben Stiller movie that I know of.

“The Fountain” (2006) might qualify too, though it’s a lot heavier.

The Rolling Stones were always the spoiled rich kids pretending to be tough. The Beatles were poor kids pretending to be posh. There are whole books written about that dynamic.
