This is an interesting question. Given a sufficiently functional environment “Raymond” may be functionally harmless as its impossible to for him to have anything crazy he wants. In a functional enough one he wont even admit the crazy shit he believes because it would see him excluded and possibly fired.

Do we then consider him eccentric instead of a POS? Is a sex murder a “nice” if he’s behind bars and we only talk to him about normal stuff and forget that he would gladly rape and murder you without the bars?

At some point we need to understand that someone who would take away your rights and potentially kill you if you didn’t roll over and accept his dominion isn’t “nice” just because he exists in an environment where he isn’t in a position to work his will.

  • Basically your side believes in 100 kinds of magic and fairy tales, at least in America the majority of self described Christians believe that the earth is less than 10k years old wished into being by what amounts to a prick of a genie and a non trivial minority of these folks believe the Earth is flat.

After spending their life talking to believers who might as well be actual adult Santa worshippers its easy to be both arrogant and a bit confused by the non imaginary part of the holy heirarchy.

  • And no, it doesn’t run worse

Flatpaks that aren’t official products of the source project sometimes have interesting issues pertaining to their permissions, are harder to set as the handler for files, harder to enable usage of system tools, don’t follow system themes, are harder to start or use from the command line, and yes start slower than native apps.

I like the idea that even stable distros can have latest stuff easily or distros which don’t package a given project. I use a few myself. It is certainly annoying that it ends up teaching people about what dirs they need to share with flatseal, flatseal, desktop files, and the command line for something which is supposed to simplify things.

Kinda feels like less work to use rolling release with a more comprehensive set of packages.

The vaccines kept those vulnerable parties from dying. The fact that vaccinated people had less severe cases isn’t theoretical it is extremely well studied. It was reasonable to suppose it would slow the spread as less chance of infection means less chance of spreading it but factually vaccinated people were much more likely to take risks ergo this certainly more than canceled out benefits in that respect.

Also your concept that Biden killed millions is just un-mathmatical. The total deaths in the US after Biden took office is ~800,000. There aren’t millions of deaths to lay at his feet period and laying even those 800k at Biden’s feet is nonsense. Logically if you want to explore the impact of the president you would have to compare not vs a fantasy world in which there is no covid but a hypothetical one in which an alternative Biden made better choices with justification as to how your counterfactual is both foreseeable AND actionable.

For instance it makes no sense to ask 2021 Biden to act on scientific insight earned in 2023 or enact policies which is out of scope of his power, illegal, unconstitutional, or up to the states.

By forcing people to vaccinate or lose their jobs, people just wholesale discounted the entire pandemic rather than take other meaningful precautions.

It is profoundly weird to blame the left for conservatives refusing to protect themselves or others and blame their entire weird psychotic philosophy with its own proponents, memes, influences, and twisted perception of the world on the lefts vaccine mandate. Relatively few actually lost their job and the the entire movement pre-existed covid and only gained additional adherents and credence.

Also by the time Biden came into power n95 was already promoted as better unless you think Biden is at fault for not getting Trump’s regime to promote better masks.

    To recap

1.2M died since 19ever not millions

Of those 800k died after Biden took office.

It’s not clear that many could have been saved by superior federal policy.

Your claim that Biden’s actions led to the deaths of millions appears to be your fantasy unsupported by any objective reality because you are both scientificly illiterate and don’t even know how many people died.

  • If it were that trivial why was public opinion not swayed earlier? The fact is at least 30-40% actually want Hitler. The rest are OK with Hitler if he actually cuts their taxes or makes them prosperous. If he built gas chambers and broadcast the mass murder of brown folks he would still have at least 30% support. We in the US are factually just garbage people.

  • If you want to kill people you dont agree with you are faschist

Not even the word. A definition of fascism from wikipedia

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism

The countries which didn’t go so peacefully notably the US and France and the UK executing Charles I by chopping his head off were partially responsible for other abdications of power being more peaceful. Had nobody been willing to fight we might still all be saying “your majesty”

  • Perhaps you are failing to notice that I’m just taking a passing dig at the fact that you use a trash rag as a source and the actually unreliable party is Israel and reporting on a different party which is just reporting the literal statements of the unreliable party isn’t itself more reliable
