Agreed but my point still stands. They weren’t late because “fuck ai”
Idk about how good Apple is at developing phones anymore though. I’m sure if they tried to innovate it would be good but they’re experts at slow dripping features invented and released by other manufacturers after many years of already being on the market. They’re late on AI, they’re not the best phone for the photo obsessed, they’re not bringing new exciting things to the phones, and they’re by far not competitive on pricing. Not sure what they really bring other than advertising and planned obsolescence of batteries and other components. I say this fully aware of irony of typing it on an iPhone, which I cannot wait to replace as soon as my car supports android auto or I find a way to spoof car play for bmw v7 car sortware. I have a 2 year old iPhone and it’s been nothing but a downgrade from my ancient galaxy s9 in everything but screen display quality
If it was correct it wouldn’t have been copied into the forums lmao
Reminds me of the days before ai assistants where people copy pasted code from forums and then you’d get quesitions like “I found this code and I know what every line does except this ‘for( int i = 0; i < 10; i ++)’ part. Is this someone using an unsupported expression?”
As usual a great illustration of the cops real job - protecting rich folks property
Bash scripts survive because often times they are the easiest option on an abandoned server
That’s exactly what most junior devs do when stuck. They rehash the same solution over and over and it almost seems like that llms trained on code bases infer that behavior from commit histories etc.
It almost feels like on of those “we taught him these tasks incorrectly as a joke” scenarios
