I tend to agree with that. But with the way customer service is going these days, its still a gamble. I like longer warranties if only because it seems like the manufacturer has some confidence in what they produced

If your roof is not shaded by trees, a light colored roof makes a huge difference. This can be accomplished a number of ways. Replacing your roofing material with a lighter color is ideal but expensive. Coating it with something like Henry Tropi-cool is durable but the product is also a little pricey. The absolute budget way to do this on an asphalt shingled roof is with a slurry of masonry lime. I’ve experimented with all of these methods and the results are dramatic. In my case the coating paid for itself within one season and made the house noticeably more comfortable.
Anthony Bourdain. Still have a hard time watching his shows. Haven’t yet watched the last season of Parts Unknown
I was in a similar boat just recently. Spectrum in lieu of Comcast. I figured anybody would almost certainly be better than Spectrum. It’s such a low bar, really. Boy was I wrong. Despite the attractive pricing and all the advantages of fiber, the fiber company, Clearnetwerx, was a total shit show. I’m talking about the basics, like, do what you say you’re going to do, make a plan in advance, make an appointment when you need to access the property, call your customer back when they leave a message. Stuff like that. I got so fed up that I canceled my service request. I’ll pay a bit more to avoid the headache of a clown car company. Maybe I’ll try again next year and see if they get their shit together.
I’m in a similar boat. Spotify is infuriating for a variety of reasons. For one, I just cannot understand how they screw up their android app so frequently. It’s constantly riddled with new bugs almost every update. And I hate how little they pay the actual artists.
I’ve been reading the buzz about music streaming services for a long while now. Qobuz is what I’m going to try next.
I also keep Pandora because their recommendations algorithm is the best in the business, in my experience.
Honorable mention for https://odysee.com/ I still use YT but I also like Odysee. And I use Freetube on my Linux laptop for YT, works great! Edit: format
Fleksy has gif support built-in. It’s the only one outside of Gboard and SwiftKey that does afaik
I tried Boost and Voyager. Eternity is my choice. Give it a test drive too
Now I have ice maker envy 🙄
