I’m always wary when an article tells you that people have been ‘martyred’ when describing casualties on one side but not the other.
They’ve usually got an agenda to push and numbers will be exaggerated and not always the truth.

So does that mean this UN mission has failed then? A quick look suggests they are supposed to be keeping Hezbollah out of the picture and Israeli forces out of Lebanon. The article says the strategic plan is updated every 4 years or so. So nothing special here. They would be foolish NOT to plan for China and North Korea to be a part of the picture. I wouldn’t mind betting Iran, Pakistan and India are mentioned somewhere as well.
