The vast majority of people uploading to YT aren’t (or weren’t) looking to make money. They didn’t even used to pay you anything. People make videos because they’re creators and they like sharing things with the world.

Aside from that YT only has 1 more revenue method than any other platform. There are a dozen other ways to monetize their content.

This is, however, a sulf-fulling prophecy. As long as people maintain that mentality the cycle can never be broken.

His brash demeanor is also what keeps it from being better, and causes devs to leave. I know I would never spend my time to contribute to such a toxic environment…

Missed opportunity there.

It’s not pretty but it is familiar to Windows user and very powerful.

Same reason as the rest of the world: too complicated to use. Also pretty much all the DEs are ugly and dated, save for GNOME, in my opinion.

I don’t know that anyone has collected any sort of data on reliability. I have a CWWK board that’s been working well for about a year now.

It’s a nice idea but:

1. There’s no more federal rebate
2. No one wants 2-door trucks or SUVs anymore. That’s why they stopped making them.

1. I don’t think PieFed supports this anymore because of bots
2. There are many different PieFed domains so SEO won’t really be effective anyway.
