  • Yeah, as someone that is an introvert and had social anxiety, the mixup does get a little annoying. Being an introvert with social anxiety when growing up was a absolute nightmare in my experience. Especially because I wanted to socialize but couldn’t bring myself to do it. It’s a constant back and forth between “I need alone time” and “I wish I could talk to people” and it made me hate myself for being introverted. Luckily I’ve managed to mostly get over it as I’ve gotten older and now I’m happy with being an introvert. Now I’m in your boat and most people don’t even realize I’m introverted until they get to know me more personally.

  • I’m not disagreeing with you about what a liberal is. Liberal politicians are garbage and are just as bad as the rest of them and are paid off by zionists. What I’m more interested in is that you seem to be talking about the politicians while I’m talking about the general population. The every day people that aren’t leftists. It just seems counterproductive to make enemies of literally everyone else. When I say you’d only have about a hundred thousand people I meant against the the ideals of everyone else, not just the politcians and their disgusting behavior. Like, why are you picking a fight with me when I agree with the majority of what you are talking about?

  • I just find it silly to talk about rising up, bringing everyone together, defending the weak, and removing those in power while treating everyone that disagrees with you like garbage. At best with that attitude you’d get a revolution of a hundred thousand people if you are lucky because you pissed everyone else off. I’ve never met anyone that has changed their mind because someone insulted them. In fact it’s usually to opposite as it usually pushes them further away.

Pointing out hypocrisy is perfectly reasonable, but if you can’t even recognize your own hypocrisies in the process you’re just an asshole. And at this point I’m moreso talking about the comments under this post as I don’t find the post that innacurate, just misleading, which is what I was trying to point out. But everyone came out the gate ready to argue over the smallest details. I get it, there are definitely specific people that deserve all the criticism and hate that they get like those that flip flop when it benefits them. But it’s pretty ridiculous to hear about “unity” while also posting memes that generalize an entire group of people based on vibes and not actually talking to the individual. That’s, for the most part, how we ended up where we are today and it’s counterproductive.

  • Anybody from any political standing could say the exact same thing that you just said but compare any other president within the last 100 years about any other topic and their point would still make sense. It’s unhelpful because it doesn’t further the conversation. All it does is point fingers and pit people against each other which is exactly what this comment section has turned into. And whether it was done intentionally or unintentionally, it’s basically ragebait. Now we are all arguing in the comments about things in the past that we can’t change and what peoples opinions were 15 years ago and why that has anything to do with people that are dying today.

  • Plus I think a very clear distinction is that Trump and his team are clearly enjoying it. I think it’s disgusting no matter what, but if I had to choose between two murders I’d prefer the one that doesn’t have fun doing it.

And this whole blame game bullshit never gets us anywhere. Yeah, sure, Obama did awful things. But what I wanna know is why we are still doing awful things? We could just, you know, not bomb random fucking people all over the world. People are dead and we’re just arguing about who killed more people while more people continue to die. It’s just so… Unhelpful.

  • When it comes to the general public I remember a lot of people being pissed off at Obama for the exact same shit. I was also in highschool when he was president so I don’t really remember how I felt about it (it was almost half my lifetime ago) but I do remember it being unpopular. I probably had a pretty shitty opinion about it because it was like 15 years ago and I’m pretty sure everyone my age had shitty opinions. I often catch myself thinking about what it was like when Obama was president and I’m like “dude, you were basically 12 when he first got elected. You don’t remember shit about what it was like.”

If you are still defending it now I honestly don’t know what to say. Especially the politicians that weren’t basically children when this happened. Y’all were there and did nothing.

  • I don’t understand how they can even defend it. Best case scenario they are saying that raping women is perfectly fine as long as they’re old enough. I get that with some of the extreme MAGA out there really do believe this kinda shit, but I’m sure bullshit like this is why we see more and more people leaving MAGA every day. It’s no surprise that Republicans are getting absolutely destroyed in almost every election lately when you see what they act like and I feel like that will be their eventual downfall. They see these echo chambers online and believe that is an actual representation of what all republican voters think. A lot of people seem to forget, but most people still sit somewhere in the middle especially outside the internet. There’s still an argument to be had about how ignorant people were when it came to the election last year, but bitching about what already happened is never going to get us moving forward.

  • Well, yeah, I know that. The problem is that I do want to finish them, I just never do. I want to know the storyline, the lore, the ending, the plot twist, the emotional scenes, I love it all as an experience. I just know that if I don’t lock in I’ll never know the story and how it ends. And as long as I stay locked in I enjoy it thoroughly. If anything, taking breaks from the game makes it not my main focus and then it does become a chore which is when I lose interest. I’m grinding it out while I enjoy it specifically so it does not become a chore.

  • I mostly go for quality of life and stability ones. There are some decent guides on the Steam forums which I usually go through when I’m modding it. I usually just go for the unofficial patch, the view distance one, and a few more small ones. I’m kind of a purist so I don’t like all the graphics update ones but there are some that are just essential. You’ll have to get the MWSE (Morrowind Script Extender) in order to get some of them to work. I’ll link one of the guides that I usually skim through to pick and choose which ones I want. The one for view distance is called Distant Land and requires the enhanced graphics mod.

It’ll be a bit of work, but once your done you’ll have a much better time.

  • I do this with games too. It takes literal years for me to beat games because I always reach a point where I get distracted by something else and then drop my current game for over a year and feel no motivation to continue once I’ve pivoted. These days if I want to beat a game I’ll lock in and do nothing but play that game for days on end. New game came out? Nah, I gotta stay locked. Friends hanging out online playing games together? Nope. Locked in. I’ll even turn off my phone and other monitors just to make sure I don’t get distracted.

With TV shows it’s almost impossible to lock in sometimes because they just take too long. I can keep my attention on one thing for a few weeks at a time but I can’t do it for the amount of time a show requires unless I somehow habitualize it into my day like watching it when I eat dinner. And even then I’ll often times switch shows about halfway through.

  • Back in like the late 2010s it was an old coworker of mine. He came in two years after i started and swooped in and took the promotion I was gonna get because he went to highschool with my bosses daughter. I’d be more mad at the boss but this guy was absolutely insufferable about it and would boast about it literally every day and talk about how awesome he was. Would always talk about how amazing he was at his job but would crack under pressure pretty much every time. He was also one of those guys that’s nice to your face but talks mad shit when you leave the room. Huge “fuckboy” energy too and always felt like he was entitled to everything. He was the kinda guy that would try to fuck your ex girlfriend the day you broke up yet still be friendly to your face. And I know that because my ex told me about it after the fact. Bro straight up sent her a request on Snapchat and Facebook out of the blue within a week after only meeting her once before.

Glad I don’t work with that guy anymore and that I have a much better job. That guy lives rent free in my head and I fucking hate that he does.

  • As someone that absolutely loves gambling and loves going to casinos to waste money with friends, I would never touch any of the shit that gets pushed on us on a daily basis. Unfortunately, a lot people that enjoy gambling do not have the forethought or impulse control to think “maybe I shouldn’t put the slot machine in my pocket” and instead think “you mean I can just do it from my pocket?” I’m not saying this as an insult to those that fall into it and I’m not saying that I’m better than them. There are definitely times I have considered it. Even now I’m fighting the urge to download an app and I don’t even watch sports!

Gambling is being injected into every facet of our lives at this point and it’s genuinely hard, if not impossible, to avoid. People like to think that only stupid people fall for this but that’s not really the truth. Desperate and vulnerable people fall for it. People that want an easy way out of the financial hole that we’ve been put into. Unless you are upper middle class or higher, $100,000 would literally be life changing. And it’s pretty fucked up that they’ve made us all this desperate while they rake in millions of dollars off of us on a daily basis.

  • This is purely anecdotal, but I have been running into a lot of DNS issues over the past couple months where I work. 3 of the computers and even one of the laptops for remote work were having DNS issues that needed to be fixed. One even needed Windows reinstalled after fixing the DNS issue (Which was probably unrelated, but worth mentioning)

I’m honestly starting to think that the internet in general might be imploding. Not sure why, but replacing so many developers and programmers with AI might be responsible. Who knows, but it’s definitely very strange.
