I believe in the rule of 5 assuming the elder pet isn’t in pain or something similar. Basically, if the pet can do their 5 favorite things without accommodation or discomfort, there’s no reason to put them down. If they can no longer do the 5 things without pain or accommodation, then it’s becoming time.

I couldn’t tell you if it’s the right way but I used it on my Rpi4 to sync 4tb of stuff from my Plex drive to a backup and set a script up to have it check/mirror daily. Took a day and a half to copy and now it syncs in minutes tops when there’s new data

I’ve also found rinsing the dish/item if I’m in a rush between steps helps massively when I’m cleaning as I go too.

Better heat and process management. If I have 2 minutes to toast almonds, I won’t be scrubbing a pan. But, if I have to cut veg and then saute, I’ll do all my prep and then start cleaning between stirs/pan heating.

Also, I love getting all my prep out of the way and then starting cooking. I immediately have much better process management to clean between cooking activities

I play 4k and 1080p HD stuff all the time with 5.1 surround at home and when I travel. It also runs my pihole and I have a rudimentary raid 1 (def not real raid 1) running with the rsync command to mirror my media drive that backs my data up every day at midnight. It’s a punchy little fucker.

I don’t disagree that you’re generally paying for the name but it my 4b w/ 8GB ram I got as a gift kicks ass. There are definitely better machines out there but the pi can handle lots of what I ask of it.

I have an old 2 something I’m thinking of using to host my cloud storage on, too. I don’t mind if it’s slower uploading.
