So much has happened but the second someone asks me that question, my memory gets erased.
I don’t. I have five, all decently large. My tastes have changed since I got my first one ~15 years ago but I like to see it. I was 18 when I got it, so it’s been with me my entire adult life. It was the first thing I did after turning 18, and it reminds me of who I was as a kid and what was important to me. I’m a parent now and I like the reminder, since it’s so easy to forget what it was like being a kid. I spent months researching artists before getting it. My husband regrets his, though. He got his on a whim in high school at somebody’s apartment. They were not sober. It wasn’t done well and just doesn’t look good and he wants it covered up.
I can’t blow my nose at all. Some weird mental block. I sniffle incessantly and drive everyone nuts instead.
I listened to a drunk Newfie (person from Newfoundland, Canada) give a speech once. I have no idea what he said. I heard they speak English there but I’m doubtful…
I know European Portuguese and Canadian French, but I’m not good at either.
Edit: I just remembered this youtube channel called Wikitongues. You can hear people speaking in all kinds of different languages and dialects. It’s fascinating. I found a dialect of French that sounds like Portuguese and French combined.
I’m a farm labourer. I work outdoors doing a lot of heavy, physical labour, so no.
Tech also just isn’t advancing and changing as much as it was when we were younger so it’s not as exciting anymore
I stepped out of a van wrong and completely tore my acl and mcl and partially tore my lcl (basically, fucked up my knee).
My family is Portuguese and they did the whole “speak Portuguese when we don’t want the kids to know what we’re saying” thing, which didn’t work because kids learn languages really easily. Nobody taught me so I can’t speak it very well but I can translate into English, as long as whoever is speaking has the same accent as my family…
Google translate does that with images.
I knew America was going to do it and I was still so disappointed in them. Really wanted to be wrong.
I just donate things to thrift stores. I can’t be bothered to sell anything. I did enough customer service jobs when I was younger to know that I have zero patience for customers.
Personally, I’d rather we started celebrating everyone’s religious holidays instead of tiptoeing around Christmas. More parties and we get to learn about different cultures.
My cop relative said everyone working in police stations keeps their stuff in lockers because cops constantly steal from each other. Not just food.
I think The Tragically Hip are mostly famous with Canadians? Did they have much international success?
Edit: I thought the question meant people around the world but I guess it could also mean just the people in your own country…
The smallest Canadian city that I’d think most people around the world might know about is Niagara Falls, although they might only know about the falls and not know that it’s also a city.

Is that like a new deviantart
Weird. I never would have guessed anyone was named that.
As a Canadian, I love that your conservative leader also lost his seat!
