Wasn’t friendica it? I don’t need a replacement for Facebook. Barely use Facebook as it is. I was one of the few people that stood on them axing the chronological friends only feed. Once they fucked that up, I just said wow, Facebook is full of crap I don’t care about now. Guess I don’t need to use it.
The sequels suck.
The Mandalorian, Rogue One, Andor, Ahsoka, The Clone Wars The Bad Batch, all range from great to decent. Hell, even the Boba Fett and Obi Wan series were okay.
Thought they’d be thinking about badgers over and over again.

I now feel what all those poor Hong Kongers felt a few years back. Seeing this just makes me feel so damn hopeless.
Story time… A guy I used to work with hit me up out of the blue to ask if I could venmo him $20 and he’d venmo it right back. I, knew this proposition was suspect. I told him he could just have $20 if he needed it. I asked around, and apparently he’d been hard into drugs and asked a similar thing to a lot of other people. He asked if the company I worked for was hiring a few weeks later. “Sorry bro, hiring freeze.” (There was no hiring freeze). I also never sent him another dime.

LMAO this just reminded me of the time my buddy’s car was overloaded and I still didn’t want to walk home so I asked him if I could ride on the roof of his sedan with my arms holding on through the window holes. It worked, and I didn’t die, so I got that going for me. Glad people didn’t have smartphones then like they do today. A vid would have 100% made it’s way to my parents somehow.
3·3 months agoVery true. Also, a lot of people went ape on home gym setups in 2020 with all the gyms closed. Some of those people are offloading the equipment now as they want more space for other things in the house, and you can get stuff significantly discounted.

I have a set of these (I didn’t pay retail, got them cheap off Craigslist). Adjustable from 10 to 90 lbs and a bench press. With these 2 things, I can do most exercises from the comfort of my home. I have no gym membership, but stay in decent shape. At the end of the day, it’s all about your discipline and sticking to it. Imo it’s much easier and more convenient for me to just go to my garage to work out vs driving 15 mins to/ from. It’s not for everyone tho. Some people like the social aspects of a gym.
7·3 months agoTSLA has been notoriously impossible to short the last few years. I firmly believe this DD from 5 years ago that Elon figured out a way to pump their stock value through gamma squeezing with OTM call options. The DD is 5 years old, but it was spot on and for a time, the stock just kept going up to where it was inexplicably worth more than it’s next 10 competitors combined. I think the actual sell volume of the world was outpacing his ability to do this for a time, but he is going to continue to try.

Elon has repeatedly trolled the SEC and says he does not respect them. He’s absolutely pumping it up to keep it afloat, and it may even return to ath.
Elon is a manipulative piece of shit, and that’s why I do not put it below him to have used his vast wealth to have undermined the 2024 election and believe he had a part in hacking it. Hell, he can’t even play video games fairly as we all already saw.

I may or may not have rigged a radio contest by voting for myself on every computer I could find in places like this.
The last 2 months I have cared a lot. I typically overpay my tax on purpose so the IRS gets an interest free loan and I get to save some money. I aim to change that soon so I just pay what I owe, and possibly don’t get a refund in April. I don’t want to give the regime a single penny more than I owe, and frankly if my state seceded and I didn’t have to give them a dime, it would be preferred.
