I don’t have anything to hide, but I don’t have anything I want to show either.
He’s considering reporting you for attempting to check out of the system. That is illegal and brings a stiff punishment.
The water in rain falling in the west of Lake Superior will take 200 years to reach the Atlantic.
Yah, this one hits hard.
You reminded me and (unintentionally) made me go read about Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. In the story, there is a child-catcher working for the Baron and Baroness of Vulgaria where children are illegal.
Whilst watching the child-catcher scene, I saw a familiar face. It was the toymaker who was portrayed by Benny Hill. That made me check the IMDB page and it was indeed him. Also of note: the story was written by Ian Flemming (screenplay by Roald Dahl) and one of the children was the (then) future singer Phil Collins.

No. We have a newer orange cat that was doing some self care in the middle of the room. Just as he flexed down to begin, he squeaked out a tiny fart. It was audible and he only reacted when we did. That shit was funny.
I am not aware of bored panda or their reputation. But I have edited my comment to the preferred site. Thank you.
Okay, this got an actual laugh out of me. Imma hafta look up Max Garcia meow.
Edit: I dig his humor. Here’s 200 to browse through: Removed bored panda link.
Maybe Bob is a slob at his job, but Rob has a knob on his hob at home.
Thanks, I do recall when they announced the last printing. Book collections can get cumbersome things to haul around in our lives and I have many already. If I ran across a more current set maybe I’d bite, but I won’t chase them down. I did already acquire the set of Great Books (classic literature and philosophy collection) that my father bought and dragged around. I’ve read some of the authors, but if I’m being honest I’d admit the 54 volumes are now mostly decorative in function and do look nice up on the shelf. I won’t get rid of them as I see their value, but that also means I have the opportunity to move them…again.
Back in the very early 90’s I had a salesman from Britannica show up on my doorstep. I was amenable and ended up buying a set of encyclopedias. I loved them partially because I love books, but I also loved that I had all this information at the ready even if frozen in the time when they were printed.
Now we have the internet and it’s nice and all, but I wish I still had those books.
I have been indifferent, but am now in the mildly amused phase. I usually enjoy the artwork even if I don’t see the humor.
Excess coffee cups received as gifts work too.
There were a few sites that tracked manufacturer adoption of when the telemetry black boxes got installed, but I cannot find the specific ones I referenced a few years ago. You can “shop” for telemetry insurance and check that way too. The car won’t be eligible if it doesn’t have the hardware.
