I’d put starting projects at 🙂 provided I like them. Otherwise, spot on.

I believe it’s called internalized ablism. Adopting the belief structures of neurotypicals because for most of our lives we didn’t know that there was any other way. It’s a lot of work digging those roots out of there.
In my case, finishing them.
That’s amusing, jenga on the moon.
Vivaldi M3 on desktop, K9 on mobile.
I agree that this is how it should be taught. I wasn’t taught it until high school. And even then it was by a university student who came to our physics class to talk to us about the kinds of things we could expect in university. :p
I’m in Canada btw.

There’s different ways to interpret these, but given the topic here I’ve found another one.
I just finished a book called How to keep house while drowning by KC Davis. It’s written for people with ADHD, autism, ptsd, handicapped, etc. anyone with challenges to getting things done, and this is one of the big themes in it, basically how to be kind to yourself. But there are lots of angles and tips and topics in there. Even witten in short, easy to read chapters. Should check it out.
First distro I got to work was LibraNet. Easy to set up and use, ran by a father-son team. Died when the father passed away. 😥
Yes, I usually watch tv or a movie in bed and it also has to be something I’ve seen before so I’m not kept awake wanting to see what happens next. Also it has to be not too funny, not too sad, or make me just too happy to see, etc. Interesting enough for me to want to watch it at all, boring enough for me to fall asleep quickly. It can be tricky sometimes.
I use one of those sleep masks with the built-in earphones to listen to different kinds of music and/or rain and thunder. Oddly I tend to like creepy and scary music or ambiance.
It would be easy enough to put a toggle in the settings for a ‘classic’ mode. I can see him doing that.
The zoom out cube is, but I’d also like the cube desktop switch effect back.
Thankfully I didn’t have to use it, but in looking it up at least I know how to now. Opensuse makes it pretty easy!
Yup, that was it. I rebooted using 6.8.8 and everything works fine now. I guess I have to do that until the next kernel update. Thanks!
No, AMD. Thanks anyway.
I see. The downside of rolling release, eh?
I do, although I’ve never had to deal with that before (just started a month or two ago) so I’ll have to look it up. Does it work on the whole drive, or can I do it by partition/logical volume?
Dual booted for the longest time, until sometime last year. Windows partition is still there, but it’s been long enough that I’ve forgotten the password. 😳
