I used to be the same as you. I guess having kids kind of forced me to start using them. It took practice to learn not to focus completely on the subtitles.

You need “English CC”. English subtitles are usually translated, whereas closed captions are taken directly from the english source. Drives me crazy too when a service has English but not English CC.

The c-stick is technically an analog stick. Take apart a Gamecube controller and you’ll see that uses potentiometers just like the left stick. It might have a gate on the stick that snaps to certain positions. I seem to remember something like that when I replaced mine.

I’ve had a couple like that. My wife went and got some salt and told and told me to eat it. Like maybe a 1/4 teaspoon. It was a lot, but it works I swear I could feel it start to relax in less than minute.

Textra. I bought it years ago. Had it on multiple phones. Still works great and still gets updated. Lots of options too. My favorite is a little delay timer on the send button that gives me a chance to cancel if I see a typo at the last second or just change my mind.
