What movie is this from? I’m thinking Mad Men, but that’s just a guess.
Thanks.

Succumb to the siren call of capitalist self-indulgence!!
Personally, I’d stick with white walls. Whatever else you want to do is your own affair. Glad to be of service.
Absolutely not. What works for one person can injure another. You can’t live online, eventually you have to go out and interact with real people.
I talked to a trainer at my YMCA about my pains. she suggested a specific machine and it’s been working wonders.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world’s best known art museums. Browse this for some ideas.
Go volunteer to help someone else.
Nothing gets my mind off my problems like being useful.
Simplest is almost always the best.
Not super expensive and lots of fun? Make your own tacos and make your own sundaes.
Two kinds of taco shells, two kinds of meat, a bunch of toppings and your set.
Three kinds of ice cream, chocolate sauce, a few other toppings, and a couple of cans of whipped cream.
Tell the littlest kids to wear bathing suits and hose them down after the meal.

There’s a science fiction series called The Lensmen by ‘Doc’ E.E. Smith. Big influence on Star Wars and other space operas. In one book a human is preparing to visit one of the most dangerous civilizations in the Galaxy. Super-special, quadruple strength armored suit he hopes will be strong enough to protect him.

Mile 22. Died at the box office and I’d heard nothing but bad things about it. Saw a DVD at the library and a stranger suggested it to me.
Seriously good thriller with action, intrigue, and some great acting.
Your cousin is Art Vandaly?
Short version. My boss pays me enough so I don’t quit, and I work hard enough so he doesn’t fire me.
The logical answer is that too many Computer Science majors loved Silver Age comic books.
The Martian Manhunter was stronger than superman, but couldn’t handle fire. Green Lantern was similarly godlike, but was unable to control anything colored yellow.
Go and watch the movie “Network.”
It went from cutting edge satire to quaint docudrama in real time.

…according to Suzie, that’s 20 seconds more than you needed…
Conservative Nixon created the Environmental Protection Agency, and Conservative Ronald Reagan put Sandra O’Connor on the supreme court over more qualified candidates because he wanted a woman on the bench. People were pushing the GOP to make Colin Powell the 1996 and 2000 candidate [he didn’t because his wife was afraid he’d be assassinated]
It’s kind of a perfect storm.
Fifty years ago, Alvin Toffler wrote a book called ‘Future Shock.’ He knew that there would be people who couldn’t/wouldn’t adapt themselves to the coming change from the Industrial era to the Digital Age. We’ve got people using the most advanced tech to push the stupidest ideas.
I guess the quote fooled me. Thank you
