Technical Death Metal. Depending of the band you get this ridiculously crazy and sophisticated instrumentalism and polyrhythmic beats like Archspire, other times you get more progressive, experimental groups like Blood Incantation that mix and match genres and soundscapes.

In fact, the newest album from Blood Incantation is a good example of that, one moment you’re listening to fast blast beats and then it suddenly takes a hard turn into pink floyd and slowly starts crescendoing back into fast Death Metal over the next couple of minutes. It’s an absurd aural experience to say the least, but I really like experimental music that pushes boundaries even when it doesn’t totally work.

Well I mean, be the change you want to see then, post more. Other than that, you really won’t find any online communities without the occasional power hungry mods, that’s just the sad reality that power corrupts.

Commenting not so much, but posting is almost exclusively done by a regular few. Reddit was already like that, but Lemmy is infinitely smaller so it becomes obviously apparent.

I used to go on Twitch all the time like 10 or so years ago, but nowadays I rarely go there anymore. Most of the streamers I enjoyed either quit or got too big and/or corporate, and their chats are just meme and emote spam nowadays so I don’t even bother with it in case I do end up watching them.

I do watch smaller streamers from time to time, the interaction is much better, but nowadays I prefer to watch VODs so I can skip parts or rewind and so on, it’s just a better experience overall for me.

Regarding your question, why delete your account? I mean, if you don’t plan on ever using the website again, sure, but otherwise why not just keep it in case?

I think there’s some very minor mechanical differences, mostly relating to the new UI and bug fixes/new bugs, but nothing major. My understanding is that they planned on finishing the villains stuff after the adventure update.

They’re both the same thing, only difference is the new graphics, soundtrack and steam workshop, so It’s going to depend mainly on whether you want to play with ASCII or not. Keep in mind that v50 (current version) is lacking some community made utilities and no custom tilesets were ported over as of yet, so if you want to use them you’d have to play v47 (pre-steam version) but you’d be missing out on the new UI and controls which are both a massive improvement. Honestly, the paid version would be easier to learn just because you wouldn’t need to decipher the ASCII, but if that’s not a problem go with the free version first.

People don’t? The only drugs I use are generics, where I live they usually cost half the price or less and work just as the original does, I’ve never had problems so this is news to me. Maybe things are different elsewhere?
