KEXP radio, lemongrass kombucha and BBQ’ed coalho cheese (kind of like cheese curds… but different, it’s a Brazilian thing).

The radio I found out about it today, despite playing a plethora of different styles, I’m quite impressed how the curation is of excellent quality.

      Nice choice.

I sometimes listen to KEXP, I discovered it along with a lot of other interesting radios using the Garden Radio app.

My favorite is a NZ radio called Brian FM.

I’d puff a few hits of the oil vape out on the porch and stick a fat prilla of swedish snus under my lip. By my side a cup of herbal chai tea or seltzer, maybe a nice beer or just still water. Throw on a record - I’ve got The Beatles, Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, pink Floyd, Radiohead, spoon, dr dog, the shins and a lot more!

OR turn on my ham radio for some scan and chill on the uhf/vhf repeaters where the other weirdos of my flavor chat about nerd stuff and life, trade gossip and just generally hang out at night.

Bong in one hand, weed vape in the other, a can of Pepsi on the coffee table, and Suicidal Tendencies on my stereo. ST doesn’t make the most out of my two subwoofers but they compliment the Pepsi quite a lot.

I don’t know if I have a favorite consumable. Let’s see, if a drink, it could be tonic water or some homemade lemonade with tonic, or it could be bubble tea, or it could be fireball or botrytis if I’m feeling like something alcoholic.

Foods might be chocolate, ice cream, chips, cake, prosciutto, olives, blue cheese and crackers

Drugs would be mushrooms but I wouldn’t consider that a relaxation companion.

I don’t think I put anything on my stereo if I want to relax. Like if I did, I wouldn’t have the food or drinks. I get easily overwhelmed like that. Scrap the food and drink and put carbon based lifeforms

Some kind of interesting seltzer, some excellent crumbly cheddar, nice summer fruit like blackberries and peaches. Listening to something intriguing and instrumental. Maybe Matthew Shipp, maybe Tyshawn Sorey, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, John Zorn, others.

A pepperoni pizza and ice tea since I don’t drink. And on the stereo I’d have lofi playing while I mellow out

A craft lager, smoked gouda, tomato, lettuce with some mayo on homemade white bread, I’ll start with Arvo Pärt’s Spiegel im Spiegel, then a couple random Leonard Cohen, and then finish with a few tracks from Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti.

Dark beer and chana masala, and the stereo is playing either deathmetal or hyperpop, since I’m alone. Gotta play the music my wife hates while I have the chance.

Chana is so good, nice call! And with a beer, chefs kiss. I totally agree on the death metal, that’s what I usually play when my husband’s out so he doesn’t have to tolerate it.

I also make (and sometimes eat) too many pancakes, so we have that in common as well.

Last night I made too much chana! The recipe said “feeds four” so I doubled it. Good thing it turn out perfect because even after feeding the whole fam we still had half a gallon leftover.
