Old saying:
He who knows not, and knows not he knows not, is a fool; shun him.
He who knows not, and knows he knows not, is simple; teach him.
He who knows, and knows not he knows, is asleep; awaken him.
He who knows, and knows he knows, is wise; follow him.
I feel like there should be one more line and a change:
He who knows, and knows he knows, is smart; beware him.
He who knows, and know he knows not, is wise; follow him
One who knows not, and know they know not is wise. If you claim to know, you’re either making stuff up or using a nonrigorous definition of knowledge.
