I’m in the same boat. Just got a 10mg thc-p gummie, was warned by the dude at the store to look into it and don’t eat the whole thing. Thank God I listened to him, cause I took less than a quarter and was put down like a rabid dog. I was good for like two or three hours, talking with my mom visiting on vacation and an old family friend. But as soon as I stopped interacting I laid down on the couch and was there for the rest of the night. Still felt a little loopy the next day too.
Not sure why but a lot of peops like to take too much. I sold pot for 40 yrs and towards the end of my sales days cannabis was getting much stronger. Customers would complain. They would not understand when I say roll smaller joints or take less puffs. Go figure.
I got a feeling you and I used to pay $10 for a “dime bag” and would be lucky to get a full gram after picking out the stems and seeds. And a whole blunt would get us as high as two puffs do these days.
I be good, thanks for checking in. I am old. It’s medicine now.

Yup, don’t forget the bug egg packets if it was Mexican weed.
Those were just what they call terpenes these days.
