FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said on Fox News Thursday morning that he is certain Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, died by suicide while in federal custody — and there is video that supports it.
“There is nothing in the file at this point on the Epstein case — and there is going to be a disclosure on this coming shortly… there is video. That is something the public does not know,” Bongino said in an interview on Fox & Friends.
Bongino clarified that the video in question does not show the “actual act” but proves that Epstein was the only person who came in or out of his cell on the night he died, on August 10, 2019.
I would like to take this opportunity to promote my own personal theory - Epstein was allowed to kill himself like a Roman general falling on his sword or a disgraced samurai being allowed to commit seppuku. It was mutually beneficial for both him and his elite friends for him to kill himself. For him, because he wouldn’t have to go through trial being exposed as a pedophile sex trafficker, and for his friends so their involvement wouldn’t have attention brought to it. This is what I have believed from the very beginning. It’s way cleaner to pay guards to look the other way while he kills himself and lose the security cam footage than it is to pay them to murder Epstein or watch a hitman do it. “Epstein didn’t kill himself” kind of misses the point because it doesn’t matter who actually killed him, the corrupt justice system allowed him to die in custody to protect powerful individuals that Epstein was connected to. If there is a video of Epstein killing himself, it still doesn’t exonerate the justice system because they still intentionally allowed it to happen.
