This is an alternate version of the Feminine Boys community on Reddit. Like that one it is an SFW text based community for the discussion on the Femboy experience. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ### Rules: 1. No image posts. This is a text based discussion community so posts can’t contain an image (exception for Thumbnails of articles which may be linked). Images can be included in post body if they add context to the discussion or help describe something. Just remember this community’s primary purpose is text based discussion. (This also applies to comments). 2. No NSFW content. Don’t engage in discussions of fetish or sexual content here. Sexuality can be discussed here. Discussion of anatomy should be depersonalized. 3. No being a creep. Don’t ask for Dates, sex, DMs, hookups, anything of a sensitive nature like that. Do not post asking for personal information. 4. No medical discussion.Try not to discuss medical issues as they are prone to incorrect or misinformation. Additionally DO NOT share advice for DIY medical procedures (this is dangerous and will earn you a permanent ban). 5. No Invalidation Gender Identity. Specifically no calling people eggs, also known informally as egging, which is trying to insist that a femboy (or any other GNC person) must be trans due to being GNC, it is hurtful and invalidating, makes people doubt themselves, and for that reason can be considered a form of gaslighting and abuse. If a person is questioning their gender you may offer them advice but you must not tell them they are trans with any certainty. Also Rule 4 applies heavily here, do not push people to do HRT or worse DIY-HRT. In addition to those rules there is absolutely no homophobia or transphobia allowed in this community whatsoever. 6. No bigotry of any kind. Absolutely no racism, sexism, ableism or any other form of bigotry will be tolerated here. 7. No bad-faith politics. Don’t engage in bad-faith politics here, this could include alt-right conservative politics but also anything tankie related. We’ll know when we see it. Don’t test us. 8. Be nice to each other. The golden rule. 9. Lemmy.world accounts are forbidden from Posting or commenting here. If you comment here on with accounts from those instances they will be removed and the accounts banned. You may comment here using accounts from other instances. Bans apply retroactively but will be spaced out to avoid spamming the log.

That makes much more sense. Here I was thinking “Guidance, Navigation, and Control”.

Rules

The rules for behavior are a straight carry over of Mastodon.World’s rules. You can click the link but we’ve reposted them here in brief, as a guideline. We will continue to use the Mastodon.World rules as the master list. Over all, be nice to each other and remember this isn’t a community built around debate. For the rules about formatting your posts, scroll down to number 2.

1. Follow the rules of Mastodon.world, which can be found here.

A. Provide an inclusive and supportive environment. This means if it isn’t rulebreaking and we can’t be supportive to them then we probably shouldn’t engage.

B. No illegal content.

C. Use content warnings where appropriate. This means mark your submissions NSFW if need be.

D. No uncivil behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: Name Calling; Bullying; Trolling; Disruptive Commenting; or Personal Criticisms.

E. No Harrassment. As an example in relation to Transgender people this includes, deadnaming, misgendering, and promotion of conversion therapy. Similarly Misogyny, Misandry, and Racism are also banned here.

2. Include a community or instance title and description in your post title. - A following example of this would be New Communities - A place to post new communities or instances all over Lemmy for discovery and promotion.

3. Follow the formatting. - The formatting as included below is important for people getting universal links across Lemmy as easily as possible.

Formatting

Please include this following format in your post:

[link text](/c/community@instance.com)

This provides a link that should work across instances, but in some cases it won’t

You should also include either:

!community@instance.com

or instance.com/c/community

FAQ:

Q: Why do I get a 404?

A: At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.

Q: When I try to create a post, the circle just spins forever. Why is that?

A: This is a current known issue with large communities. Sometimes it does get posted, but just continues spinning, but sometimes it doesn’t get posted and continues spinning. If it doesn’t actually get posted, the best thing to do is try later. However, only some people seem to be having this problem at the moment.
