Today being the 23rd anniversary of the premiere of Firefly, I am both, doing a rewatch of the series as it aired should have aired, and started a new community for discussion of the show and related spin-off media.

I don’t think that the Firefly Lemmy userbase is large enough or divided enough to necesitate two communities.

Yes, I know of the world community, but since it is devoid of any recent content I would rather start a community on a different instance than having yet another community on world.
Yeah, moving off-world is great for Lemmy overall. It would be great if we could get a pinned post on !firefly@lemmy.world redirecting folks to !firefly@slrpnk.net. Otherwise, new Lemmings who join .world might see the .world community, assume Lemmy has no Firefly userbase, and leave.
