I’ve bought my Cheetah double, ten year old model or some such, it’s already Thule branded, for C$450 used, off of local marketplace. But I’ve seen them go for as low as $200 or $150 for the single. People often buy one and then, as they also don’t bike as much as they think they will, end up selling them during spring cleaning or end of summer.
I use mine 365 days a year and it has a LOT of tear and wear three years in. I’m basically patching the tarp together where I can. But the frame, suspension and the wheels hold up remarkably well.
i keep thinking i want to get something like that for my cats (or better yet a sidecar) but i don’t $1700 want one that’s half what my bike runs.
