Borgen looks pretty interesting.
@Sunshine Fleabag
@Sunshine Norsemen is also brilliant.
Dark. But you might get a knot in your brain.
A three-fold knot, to be exact!
Taskmaster has me howling with laughter every episode.
Two favourite of mine! Good taste 😄
Bron (or The Bridge) is a good swedish crime drama that is a little bit older.
If you like dark humour that doesn’t hold any punches: Norsemen is my recommendation.
Loved it. I think the fact thay they shot it twice (NO and EN), with the actors having the norwegian accent made it even more fun for me.
Unfortunately the NO version is almost impossible to find. Wanted to give it to my parents to watch.
If you’re on the tracker known as TL, three seasons seem to be there with the IDs 2003717, 2003718 and 2003719.
Oh absolutely!
Tin Tin
Babylon Berlin
Dr Who
Bully Parade (german only)
Historical series like: Maria Theresia, Borgia, Medici
If you like interesting, complex, morally ambiguous detective shows, The Killing and The Bridge effectively kicked off the scandi-noir genre.
Deutschland 83 (and the follow ups 86 and 89) is a German show about an East German spy sent to West Germany amd is fantastic.
Father Ted.
@Sunshine the original (UK) version of The Office.
Darkness: Those Who Kill, a very well made serie going on its piece. Also some old UK comedy: Fawlty Towers and Keeping Up Appearances.
“Bouquet residence! Lady of the house speaking.”
“this is not a Chinese restaurant!”
Gomorrha - Italian mafia series, partly based on true circumstances.
Spaced
Black Adder, The Piglet files, Allo allo, Only fools and horses, The New Statesman just to name the few - old school awesome comedy.
loved Allo allo and Only fools and horses! Can’t go wrong with these two.
My favorite is Black Adder :) Nothing beats it.
I’ll add more: Dark, 1899, Money Heist, Peaky Blinders, Gomorrah, Black Mirror, Norsemen, Lupin, Kleo.
Goot meuning.
Line Of Duty.
Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes.
