Accepting either presented level of shittiness is what got us here in the first place.

Trump couldn’t have done it without Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. The House Reps would struggle more, if it wasn’t for people like Schumer. If Democrats had called out AIPAC over the past twenty years instead of drooling over the opportunity to aid and abet war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide for them, we’d never had the whole “yeah i am voting for the slow genocide” argumentation being somehow “acceptable”.

And the most important thing is that the current Democrats are not going to be a driver for positive change. They are still fighting against moderate progressives like Mamdani and pushing for neoliberal reactionaries like Newsom instead.

You don’t understand how Democratic politicians that have directly funded trump and normalized right-wing positions (immigration is a great example of such) are far more responsible for Trump winning the election than online commenters who criticize the Democratic Party due to it’s proximity to the Republican Party?

Capitalists are responsible for the rise of fascism. Both parties are beholden to the interests of their capital donors, they simply play different roles to uphold that interest.

Progressives who criticize the Democratic party for failing to represent their constituents, who are supposed to be working class Americans, not billionaire donors, are the ones applying pressure on the Democratic party to actually fight against fascism instead of against progressive candidates and policies. The Democratic Establishment will not change without overwhelming pressure from working class Americans

This country has been going to shit since Ronald fucking Reagan. Yes, that means Republicans are terrible. That also means the Democrats are either complicit or powerless to stop it.

And that is completely understandable, but this post seems to insinuate that the republicans don’t want to bomb the middle east, when in reality, the republicans also absolutely want to bomb the middle east, while ALSO wanting to implement a fascist dictatorship in the USA.

Republicans are currently funding Israel. Republicans are currently aiding a genocide. Republicans are currently killing democracy in USA. Republicans are currently threatening their allies with war.

Only focusing on how horrible the democrats are (and I agree they are), takes the spotlight away from the much much worse shit the republicans are currently doing, in addition to doing exactly what the democrats want to do.

i think the red hat is carrying the assumption that they also want to bomb children, mainly because republicans claim that as a feature of their rule. this cartoon wants to emphasize their stupidity as the focal point.

Its the compromise position between ‘crushed between the gears of the machinery of oppression as you desperately try to stay above water mud by sucking on a boot so hard my whole body is dragged up with each step’ and ‘open bloody organized revolt against the fuckers who would take everything from you if you ever let anything you made see the light of day’.

In the first panel both are, somewhat vapidly, disagreeing based on their respective perspectives on objective reality (vapid because they both fail to see that it very clearly is a curled up sperm!)

In the second panel, one has broken with reality and the other is unwavering in their obsession with an out of scope issue. Meanwhile, the third: the artist or the viewer that shares neither perspective, is alienated because the plainly visible sperm doesn’t even matter anymore.

It’s not about whether they agree about anything. It’s about sperm.

For recognizing that an American but also most other people have only the choice of the lesser evil? An criticizing the appearent lesser evil for something every party does suggests a false choice. Choosing the bigger evil is not a good thing.

Yes it is, the “reality” for 100 years ago was a lie.

Literally 100 years ago was the build up to the great depression. The side was “workers should be able to eat” versus “the workers shouldn’t have rights”

Fast forward 40 years and it was “it’s okay to sit next to black people” vs. “Races should not mix and any attempt to do so should be met with extreme violence”

So theres two political parties that have a duopoly on electoral politics here.

One of them is shitty and evil and does not give a shit what we want. They work for their billionaire masters. All of them, save like two guys the party tries to ratfuck at every opportunity are unbelievably corrupt in incredibly convoluted ways. About half of them are pedophiles. Greed is good.

The other one is a coalition of 1. christofascist apocalypse cultists who can’t cum without either ‘a handmaids tail’ or the fire-and-brimstone parts of the bible printed on the child they are currently raping 2. Silicon valley billionaire ghouls who literally drink the blood of children, who all want to build the bad part of every 20th century piece of dystopian fiction (most of them are pedophiles) and 3. The guys they had to tone down to make the antagonists for ‘captain planet’ and ‘leverage’. The suffering is the point. Oh, also the, like normal mask-off nazis-occult and otherwise. Also they’re all nakedly corrupt and revel in it, and are so corrupt its kind of another layer of geopolitics.

The other one does not give a fuck about truth, and has beem lying their asses off since before i was born, and everybody just lets them.
