    Headline misleading, it’s just spin. He means it should have a phase out for well-off people. Which is a good idea if you’re the government and just sending people checks.

    Could have just as easily titled it “Josh Hawley wants to give away money to all Americans earning under $75k, calls Biden voters ‘wealthy’.”

        If $75k, is the cut off that’s going to hurt more middle class than it will the rich.

            It depends on where you are. $75k in NYC or San Francisco is basically poverty.

            The person above mentioned higher votes on “Biden voters”. The comment above that one talked (which is you) about “Biden voters” being people that make $75k.

            Raising taxes on people making over $75k is going to hurt the middle class more.

      It would be nice if they changed the title though. It feels pretty cheap to get upvotes for misleading headlines
