Doing QA for this company must be the most unusual job.
“That light was green, right?”
Square, because otherwise the dimples wouldn’t be uniform.
Also, square plates are better.
That’s just chaos.
Pizza is primarily a bread first. Toppings are only an enhancement of said bread. And if the bread sucks, the whole pizza sucks and no combination of toppings will save it.
You gotta check out the Neil Breen movies. Here’s a trailer for one of his movies, Twisted Pair.
They’re absolutely awful to watch alone and great to watch as a group. I still can’t decide if he’s self aware or not.
3d chess is a thing. It’s annoying to play.
That’s a good thumbnail.
I’d make some fucking soap.
That I was a republican. The teacher gave out this political alignment quiz that was incredibly biased asking things like “do you like lower taxes or higher taxes?” and “do you like more freedom or less freedom?” All the questions basically lead you to the same answers. So the entire class basically had the same result.
This was in middle school so I wasn’t even politically engaged yet. I didn’t realize how crazy this was until years later.
No amount of lead time or knowing the roads is going to help you when a pedestrian or deer walks into the road, the vertigo kicks in, or you pass out completely. Driving safely may reduce the likelyhood of a catastrophe but driving sober would reduce it significantly more.
You’re rationalizing your bad behavior to yourself. You’ve got a pretty good chance of hurting someone if you continue. Quit while you’re ahead.
Hard one to upvote.
There’s a little nuance here, I guess. The legal BAC limit isn’t necessarily the same limit for every person. But there’s a point where any amount of practice isn’t going to fix your lack motor skills and impaired brain. And the more intoxicated you are the more dangerous you are to yourself and others.
Electrical circuits are ridiculous. And it’s just interconnected circuits upon circuits spanning the globe. A device in Montana is physically connected to a device in California through an unbroken (ignoring transformers) series of wires.
The fact that we got materials to move electrons from a hundred miles away to do things like calculate 3d shapes for entertainment is insane.
What’s worse than living in a dystopia? Living in a dystopia with a major medical issue.
I’m with you. I refuse to believe the American machinery would allow us to attack an ally any time soon. A lot would need to change.
There is no one thing. Democrats have floundered for… decades. They did a thing during Obama but largely as a party they’ve done nothing for most of America except maintain.
Then there’s MAGA which is kind of a new thing. It goes beyond ideology. I’d argue there is no ideology, beyond maybe a few wedge issues that are just used to build ranks. To me it kind of looks like useful idiots being wrangled by those that control information. But the idiots are at the top and the bottom of the chain include the politicians and the electorate so it’s confusing.
People also got soft, complacent, and poorer. Lots of people just completely checked out of their civic duties. Either because they can’t be bothered, or because they’ve got more important things to worry about.
There’s probably also lots of other topics leading into the current political climate that I haven’t even touched on. Trying to explain it away as one thing doesn’t really work.
weirder
Don’t forget you’re interviewing them, too. Prepare questions (or ideas of questions) you have ahead of time. You’re bound to have some And don’t assume any answers.
It’ll not only answer your important questions, but it will show you’re engaged in the process, and you might be able to rule out a terrible employer ahead of time.
