True, but I had hoped that the fediverse was a life raft from the dying internet at large. Seems that hope was unfounded, and the virus has spread here as well, with no sign of it being repelled.

That sounds simple enough, but the fediverse is not popular yet with normies, and we’re already seeing it happen. Also, how does one keep normies away from something exactly?

That puts a lot of responsibility on users to solve the problem for themselves, which as you say, they never will. Seems like the fediverse is going to be destroyed by AI in the near future just like the rest of the internet has been.

The internet is the sole source of my social life. I would have no friends at all if it didn’t exist.
I respect that they are being responsible with their new found power.

I just installed a minimalist phone launcher. It creates a much more focused and less distracted phone experience. Also, not exactly new, but new to me, I switched from windows 10 to Ubuntu Studio. The experience is night and day, and I wish I had done it sooner.

And that’s why she lost. (Not really, but emblematic of her type of democrat.)
These programs exist for a reason. Free market capitalism is what made them necessary in the first place.

I don’t think rates of change or approaching a limit are things that an average person would find useful. I do think that some sort of statistics should be a requirement though, especially applied statistics.
I have dozens of notes in my notes app I forgot existed.

That is a really weird way to say you can’t make a woman cum.
I am not familiar with flat packs vs snaps, I will have to look into that. I’m not opposed to learning different file systems if need be, it’s all new to me anyway, but if one is easier than the other I would probably go with that.
Reaper was the plan, but open to something different.
What hardware do you have? Mine is somewhat on the older side (ryzen 3600 and rx 6600), but new enough to run games and other software decently.
What apps does Mint have installed by default? Because I’m trying to minimize the things I need to tinker with up front to have a good experience. I am somewhat technically savvy, but this is my first linux install, so I’d like it to go smoothly and hit the ground running. What is the benefit of mint over this OS?

I’m currently OS shopping, and saw a video of a PikaOS install that looked extremely easy and painless. The fact that it prompts you to install the “gaming meta” packages right up front is clutch. I think I might give that a go as my first install.

Thoughts on /e/OS? Been thinking of giving fairphone 6 a go.
And true love for that matter.
